Beidou is China’s 8-Day Orienteering Competition. The 8th Beidou Orienteering Competition will be held in January 2026 in the Yunnan Province.

What to expect?
The Beidou Orienteering Competition is a great orienteering adventure with Chinese characteristics: Early mornings, orienteering in villages and forests in Yunnan, Chinese food, and social exchange with university student orienteers from China. The event locations and details are announced at the event itself – be flexible.
The total number of participants is limited to 500.

Beidou Event Package

Event package includes
Accommodation, food, transport from/to the meeting point, transport during the events, event photography, orienteering entry fee for 7 competitions + extra orienteering activities, and finisher souvenir.

Travel to and from China (Airport) must be booked individually. Visa costs if applicable (many countries have visa-free agreements).
Terms
Entries are accepted only through the online entry form and are valid after fees have been received in our bank account. Please note that the organiser reserves the right to reject entries.
Cancellation Policy: In the case of curtailment or cancellation of Beidou due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to retain all or part of the entry fees.
Cancellations before 31 December 2025 will be given a 30% refund. We regret that no refund of entry fees will be possible after this date. If you wish to cancel your entry, please send an email.
